Governing Body for Staff at the University of Kansas

Preference for Membership on FY2019 Staff Senate and  University Senate Committees

All university support staff and unclassified professional staff of the University, permanent and probationary (not temporary) employees, may serve on a Staff Senate Committees and be nominated to serve on University Senate committees and boards. 

Please complete the form below, and indicate committees and boards you are interested in serving on.  The deadline is July 27, 2018

You will be contacted regarding your ability to serve on a committee or board prior to being appointed.  

Some University Committee positions are appointed by the Staff Senate and some by the Provost from recommendations by the Staff Senate President.   By filling out this form and returning it, you are informing the Staff Senate of your interest in serving on certain Staff Senate and University Committees.    It may not be possible to appoint everyone to the committees of their choice.  Unexpected vacancies may occur and your preferences will be considered.

Any member of the electorate may serve on a Staff Senate committee. Please indicate your Classification.
Any member of the electorate may serve on a Staff Senate committee.
Standing Committees of the University Senate are comprised of faculty, staff and students.
Staff members are nominated by the Staff President and appointed to serve by the Provost on the Judicial Board, Parking Commission, Transit Commission, Library Appeals and Disciplinary Action Hearing Board.
