Native American Heritage Month

We invite you to use November – Native American Heritage Month – to explore and support the diverse cultures, histories, and contributions of Native peoples.

LGBTQ+ Allyship with Safe Zone

The Center for Sexuality & Gender Diversity has spent the last year rethinking the Safe Zone training program. It aims to be more useful to the queer and trans (QT) community across campus by encouraging participants to do allyship rather than be an ally. This shift has led the SGD to radically redesign the program from the ground up.

KU Transition to Postsecondary Education (TPE)

A win for DEI. Every. Single. Day. Providing an inclusive college education for students with intellectual disabilities.

Q&A with the New Assistant Vice Provost for DEIB

Erin Duran joined the KU Office of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, & Belonging (DEIB) as assistant vice provost in August 2021. He brings ten years of experience in diversity and inclusion to the position, which will focus on staff issues and initiatives at KU. We asked Erin to outline priority issues, his vision for the role, and the ways staff can support the work of DEIB at KU.
