Joining the Staff Senate D&I Committee

Join us on the Staff Senate Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) Committee! The Staff Senate D&I Committee is a group of staff members from across campus who are committed to making KU an inclusive and equitable place to work for all staff. Some of the work we do includes: 

• Facilitating the Unpacking Whiteness in the Workplace training sessions
• Developing The Lens Newsletter
• Advocating for supervisor accountability 
• Connecting with other DEIB offices on campus

If you join us, you’ll learn more about campus-wide diversity, equity, and inclusion work and meet other staff from across KU who are committed to this work. You will also have the opportunity to advocate for an inclusive and equitable campus with campus leaders. 

You do not need to be a member of Staff Senate to join the committee. We meet once a month for an hour and an additional hour with your ACTION Team. More information can be found at staffsenate.ku.edu/diversity-inclusion-committee.
